Castrol 40th Birthday

June 20, 2017

On Saturday, members of the Woodcote Rally attended the 40th Birthday anniversary party at the Castrol Research Centre in Whitchurch Hill, a private event for employees and members of their families.

Castrol have supported the Rally over many years by making generous contributions to help cover our running costs. We were delighted to attend and show our appreciation for the support they have given us over the years.

We put on a good display with a traction engine, three tractors and the winning entry in the Woodcote 2016 Castrol Research Cup for classic cars: Karen Prior from Goring with her 1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mk 3 BJB.

We also had a stand advertising this year’s rally on the 8th and 9th July. We had a lot of interest in our display and we managed to give out hundreds of our DL leaflets, which give a £1 discount on entry.

Once again, the Woodcote Rally is very grateful for everything Castrol do to support our charitable efforts.
